Untold Stories

These are compositions consisting of smaller square canvasses (40X40 cm. each), which are placed alongside each other to form bigger paintings. I started doing this work while thinking of puzzles and story-boards. It started while I was drawing some story – boards for a television program, and resulted in abstracted paintings, which refer to stories, but do not actually narrate any specific story. I suppose the viewer can read them in any way, and, in fact, viewers are encouraged to change the position of the small canvasses, in order to form different compositions.
